WHY THIS
IS THE BEST SOLVENT FREE FLOOR EPOXY AVAILABLE
This is a top-of-the-line (best) professional contractor grade product - Industrial Floor Epoxy (tm), repackaged in smaller units for a larger market. Perfect for use over vinyl asbestos tile (VAT), vinyl composite tile (VCT), wood or concrete. Application by short nap roller or squeegee and short nap roller. A top quality, solvent-free, general epoxy floor paint. Not for use on vertical surfaces. Coverage is approximately 175 squ feet per 1.5 gallon unit. Easy 2:1 mix by vol (1: 0.39 by weight). Colors: Beige, Light Gray.
Consider using Bio Vee Seal as a concrete pre-treatment step prior to applying this floor epoxy. Bio Vee Seal is listed below. Top coating with our Acrylic Poly UV Plus (lots of UV blockers - (More on UV blockers) will keep the new shiny look longer and help keep the epoxies from yellowing (note yellowing not very visible with the beige, but the gray will turn to a greenish gray in direct sun.). The beige doesn't hide quite as well as the light gray. One coat generally covers
Also used as a base layer for colored chips or commercial sand/colored sand broadcast epoxy floor systems. see epoxyproducts.com/floorcoatings.html for links to information on colored chips and broadcast sand floor options).

Hi,
Just wanted to say Thanks for the great product (Industrial Floor Epoxy) and service on my Garage floor project.
It set up great and once I got the knack for Pot Life times, I was off and running laying down the mixture!!
I should have taken before and after photos but it really came out great and most important, I can see the strength
of the Epoxy as a protective
barrier. I look forward to winter now with all it's wrath! This time I'm ready!
Hope to be in touch soon for other projects.
Mark
Dear Sir, We applied the Industrial Floor Epoxy in our
work trailer yesterday, and I swept off the excess sand today. We are very pleased with the results. None of us
had any particular experience with this kind of application, but we followed the instructions, had a fairly cool
morning to do the work, and managed to complete the application in about 90 minutes, dividing the work and mixing
epoxy in three sections. I would recommend this material to friends looking to do similar work. Thank you for your
assistance, the all-purpose sand was quite adequate for our needs.

Paul,
A few weeks ago I ordered epoxy, color chips and UV Poly top coat for my garage (1700sqft). You may or may not remember an order of 15gal of epoxy to Bismarck, North Dakota....
Anyway, I have half the floor done (half because of moving everything in my garage from one side to the other) and the floor looks awesome. People
that have seen it are astounded, they've never seen anything like it because no one around here supplies industrial epoxy.
In high school (Calgary, Alberta) I used to work for a company that specialized in epoxy patching of
> concrete, so I am somewhat familiar with epoxies.
I spent many months researching on the Internet what products are available and their cost. The product you have supplied is top notch and I have passed on your name to anyone that is interested.
Also, today my garage furnace stopped working so I put in a service call and the fellow had to reset my draft interlock. Seems that having the garage door
open and the furnace running to help cure and air-out my floor reversed the flow in the flu. Anyway, the service guy was so impressed with my floor he wants
to try to convince his boss to do their shop floor. If you hear from Advanced Mechanical in Bismarck, it came from me.
I can barely wait until we do our daughter's graduation party in our garage next month!

ROUGH COAT™: two part floor epoxy with grit
CANNOT BE SOLD IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
floor epoxy paint with grit
This is our special floor epoxy with grit already mixed-in for non slip. It is solvent based, flexible, and rolls on at about 160 - 180 square feet per gallon kit. The solvents are necessary as they allow the grit thickened epoxy to roll our nicely and then 'shrink' down as the solvents evaporate away, allowing the grit to become fully exposed. We just couldn't achieve this nice distribution without the solvents. The end result is a floor with a grit surface. Texture is rougher than you would see in a shower, but still not 'industrial rough' - similar to what I have seen on custom wooden boats decks. One coat is fine, but two coats really masks the 'roller direction pattern' of the grit sometimes seen with only one coat, giving a slightly more textured surface with a more random pattern. It can be brushed on too, but the brush marks are very obvious. Unlike the Industrial Floor epoxy, but like the Water Bond epoxy, Rough Coat will not hide cracks and flaws on the surface. If you need to 'hide' cracks etc., use a base coat of the Industrial Floor Epoxy or our clear watery Low V epoxy under the Rough Coat. Being solvent based, pot life is measured in hours, not minutes.
When grit is mixed into a paint or epoxy and brush applied, one can see the brush mark pattern. The results look better when roller applied. Two coats always helps provide more grit and a more uniform pattern. Part of the problem is the mixing and dispersion of the grit in the liquid product. Rough Coat overcomes almost all of these objections but making the part A of this two part epoxy almost like whip cream and matching the density of the grit to the density of the coating. Also by using some solvent in the coating, it brushes on nicely and 'shrinks' down as it cures and the solvent flashes off, leaving behind a nearly perfect and uniform non skid texture.
A white film can sometimes form on the surface within the first 1 - 3 days if temps. are cool and dew/condensation form. Best applied indoors or in warm summer weather. This is amine blush.
The color is a light tan or khaki. We selected this color because it has enough yellow it shouldn't show UV yellowing but it is light enough in color that you can topcoat it with a layer of latex or enamel in whatever color you want (and still have a non-skid texture). We have seen boat decks and patio decks etc. in this light tan woody color, and it is a color we don't have any other epoxy in, so it seemed like a good color to stock.
In terms of color and texture it seems to match the appearance of 'fine sharp sand in flat enamel' on small custom made wooden boats I've seen at the WoodenBoat show in Maine. The part A looks like whipped cream in the can but when mixed with the liquid part B it forms a nice coating.
Texture is suitable for bare feet.

Vee Seal™:
THIS IS A WATER BASED PRODUCT THAT SHOULD NOT FREEZE - PRODUCT IS SHIPPED FROM NEW HAMPSHIRE -
NOT SHIPPED FROM DEC. 1 - NARCH 15 DUE TO RISK OF FREEZING
A proprietary catalyzed Potassium formulation (not a silane or siloxane)
One part, non-epoxy concrete pore filler/fortifier. Seals and waterproofs by crystallizing
within surface pores thus reducing permeability and porosity while leaving no trace on the surface of the concrete.
Since it doesn't leave a surface layer, it doesn't prevent future painting or coating.
Use to stop that 'damp, musty smell in your basement that can promote mold and lead to serious health problems!
Coverage about 200-250 square feet per gallon.
Although untested, it is probably useful for sealing off subsurface greases and oils on surface degreased concrete, preventing the oils from subsequent migration back to the surface and affecting the epoxy bond.
Use on floor slabs, concrete surfaces with standing water, back-up protection under concrete paints, parking garages, etc. More information: Bio-Vee concrete fortifier and sealer
Our typical purchaser is coating using this product to coat the concrete in a new home construction - typically purchasing 5-10 gallons.
USED BY ITSELF, IT WILL REDUCE, OR ELIMINATE, MOISTURE MIGRATION THROUGH CONCRETE FLOORS AND WELLS (THROUGH THE CONCRETE ITSELF, NOT WHEN MIGRATION IS THROUGH CRACKS). IT IS USED ON CONCRETE THAT IS ALWAYS A BIT DAMP AND TO END THE 'MUSTY' OR DAMP SMELL IN BASEMENTS, ETC. PERHAPS MORE IMPORTANTLY, BUT LESS OBVIOUS, IS THAT BY REDUCING OR ELIMINATING MOISTURE MOVEMENT THROUGH THE CONCRETE IT INCREASES THE LIKELIHOOD OF A SUCCESSFUL PAINT OR COATING JOB ON THE CONCRETE SURFACE (NOTE: THIS PRODUCT WORKS BELOW THE SURFACE OF THE CONCRETE, IT LEAVES NOTHING ON THE SURFACE). THIS IS BECAUSE MANY COATING FAILURES ARE THE RESULT OF MOISTURE OR VAPOR PRESSURE BUILDING UP ON THE UNDERSIDE OF COATINGS APPLIED TO CONCRETE.
BECAUSE OF THIS, BIO VEE SEAL IS ALSO A RECOMMENDED, BUT OPTIONAL, PRE-TREATMENT TO CONCRETE SURFACES THAT WILL BE COATED WITH SOME SORT OF SURFACE COATING.
WILL SEAL UNCOATED/UNPAINTED STUCCO!

Hi Paul,
I purchased your Bio Vee Sealer for my concrete garage and I must say the stuff works great. It's very obvious
that water does not "seep" into the concrete now when the floor gets wet. Hopefully this will prevent
oil stains and such later on.

maybe 6 mos... Applied Bio-Vee Seal to the floor and walls inside. I also did the exposed walls outside. The humidity
has improved (lowered) considerably. No need for a dehumidifier now.
Almost 2 years later Dave used it again.....

You can also use REGULAR EPOXY PAINTS instead of EPOXY FLOOR
PAINTS on your floor
REGULAR EPOXY PAINTS
are a bit thicker and can also be used on vertical surfaces.
Gray Corro Coat FC2100A epoxy paint is kevlar (tm) reinforced.
White or Blight Blue Water Gard 300 epoxy paint if often used in
sewers and water treatment plants. CM 15 (ivory or black) is an
epoxy paint with a long pot life (for hot weather) and a bit of
flex. Originally designed for the inside of gasoline storage
tanks on the Gulf Coast.
Aluthane™ (METALLIC COATING):
Aluthane is a thin, high solvent level, aluminum filled, one part moisture cured urethane. Color obviously is an aluminum gray/silver. It has amazing adhesion. It is more commonly used on steel and wood surfaces, but also works well on concrete (seal and provide a tough thin coating of 'silver-gray'), so we are mentioning this product here as well.
